The Nacalai Tesque Research Institute has three main R&D groups:

• Separation Technology: COSMOSILR HPLC and SMILE electrophoresis capillary columns.
• Biochemistry: Agarose plate pre-cast electrophoresis gels, markers, kits, cell culture media.
• Immunology: Antibodies, toxins, detection kits developed in cooperation with leading Japanese research facilities.

The Nacalai Tesque Research Institute is the base of our technical information network:

• Training our sales force who connects customers with our technical support staff.
• Providing immediate answers to our customers, tips and troubleshooting.
• Collecting and evaluating ideas for new products in house and/or at our suppliers.
• Facilitating joints projects with research facilities from universities to start-ups.
