We are excited to provide the research community with a fully differentiated, pure, and functional Human iPSC-derived Cortical Neuron product. When cultured in iXCells’ Cortical Neuron Maintenance Medium, our cortical neuron product displays typical neuronal morphology and expresses the key forebrain and synaptic markers typical of this cell type.

 

iXCells cortical neurons can be used in co-culture with other cell types to recapitulate disease phenotypes, aspects of physiological development, and brain function. This model is highly suitable for investigating numerous CNS diseases, including Alzheimer's disease (AD), frontotemporal dementia (FTD), autism, epilepsy, schizophrenia, traumatic brain injury, and for subsequent drug development.

  • Ready-to-use, fully differentiated and pure human iPSC-derived cortical neurons
  • Express relevant markers: MAP2, TUJ1, Tbr-1, VGLUT2, SV2, and PSD-95
