AB.png Beta-Amyloid aggregation and fibril formation has long been implicated in multiple neurological disorders including Alzheimer's disease, and these new preformed fibrils are designed to provide scientists with a relevant tool for their research. These preformed fibrils of Beta-Amyloid (1-42) may be used as a model for the pathogenic form of Beta-Amyloid (1-42) in numerous amyloidosis.

Tau.pngrPeptide's Tau-441 preformed fibrils are produced from recombinantly purified, native monomeric protein. Sourced from E.Coli, Tau-441 fibrils were prepared and confirmed by thioflavin assay and electron microscopy, which shows an average size ranging from 50nm-200nm. The Tau-441 preformed fibrils may be useful for researchers studying Alzheimer's disease and other tauopathies.

Alpha-Synuclein preformed fibrils can be used for either in vitro requirements such as fibril stability, drug design, and aggregation studies. The use of these preformed fibrils for in vivo experiments can be advantageous, due to the level of Alpha-Synuclein fibrils being more physiological than viral-based or transgenic methods. Alpha-Synuclein preformed fibrils may also be used in the study of Parkinson’s Disease or Lewy Body Dementia, as well as other Alpha-Synuclein related disorders.
